Men, you must be humble allies in this movement. Please do not perpetuate cycles of harm by insisting that women must adjust, no matter how well-intentioned. Let the women in your lives tell you what they need and listen to them sincerely.
Instead of asking ourselves what we can do to fight systemic issues of displacement or climate change, we can ask ourselves what we must do as kin to the mountains, the ones we call madre, mother.
As all justice work is tied to one another, taking care of oneself is taking care of the collective. We have to reclaim land for our farmers while holding space for each other and see those pursuits as one.
