More than a month into their evacuation from their communities in Lianga, Surigao del Sur after three of their leaders were murdered by government-sanctioned paramilitary groups, the Lumad bakwit long to return home and live in peace. Multi-awarded photojournalist Raymond Panaligan photographed their plight and struggles.

Ang ligayang hatid nito, katulad ng papremyo ng “Juan for All, All for Juan” na sinusundan nito: sa isang banda’y pantawid ng mga maralitang tumatanggap sa araw-araw na hirap ng buhay, sa kabilang banda’y pantawid din sa buhay ng sistemang panlipunan na nagpapanatili sa kanilang mahirap.

Liberal Party gets flak for lewd show at Laguna event
